Day 2 of the 25 Days of Christmas: Pinkalicious: Pink Around the Rink

Turn Pinkalicious into a holiday gift basket for your little princess!

Kann, Victoria.
Pinkalicious: Pink Around the Rink.
October 2010.
HarperCollins.

When Pinkalicious is given a new pair of ice skates for a gift, she acts happy, but deep down is really disappointed. After all, new ice skates typically come in the color of white, not pink. So, Pinkalicious takes matters into her own hands, becoming quite creative to have the pink skates she's got her heart set on. However, despite having pink skates, Pinkalicious is discovering that ice skating isn't quite as easy as it looks - and her pink skates, don't stay pink for too long, allowing others to see her struggles on the ice skating rink. All's well that ends well, though, as Pinkalicious learns to have fun ice skating and enjoy her new skates at the same time!

Holiday Gift Basket Idea:
I'm fairly certain this gift basket would be a hit with your Pinkalicious fan - or a great introduction if you're looking to inspire reading in your little one!
