Today Jan Brett celebrates her 60th Birthday! While a wonderful author all around, I opted to feature her Christmas stories today to honor her birthday! Enjoy!

This is a wonderful book to hold a place on any child's bookshelf! Comprised of seven of Jan Brett's stories, this book will keep you and your child entertained for one whole week of bedtime stories starting the week before Christmas and culminating on Christmas Eve with The Night Before Christmas. Two of the stories, The Mitten and The Hat are among Brett's most popular and focus on a more wintry theme and not entirely Christmas. All of the books combined in this treasury are wonderfully written and have much to offer children!
